Rachel Khoo: Cosmopolitan Cook
Rachel finds herself taking in the Princes’ Islands of Istanbul, a chain of nine small islands in the Sea of Marmara, where the people of Istanbul come to escape the buzz of city life. Here Rachel takes things easy as she hops on a boat and visits a place where it feels as if time has stood still. Rachel discovers a cute Bohemian café with a tiny kitchen that feels very familiar but gives the British cook and food writer lots of new ideas inspired by Turkish cuisine. Back home in London she cooks a ‘Razor Clam Mezze’, ‘Butternut Filo Pastry Snails’ and a ‘Pistachio Yogurt Cake with Pomegranate marbling’.
