Episode two is set in Southern Italy’s beautiful Amalfi Coast. Here the British cook and food writer explores the bountiful coastline and cooks family-style at a cliff-side restaurant where local dishes are the specialty. During Rachel’s stop-over on the Amalfi Coast, she learns age-old secrets to some delicious Italian dishes. Here Rachel discovers how the locals use the freshest local ingredients, inspired by the terraced gardens synonymous with the area. Back home in London, Rachel creates – ‘Rachel’s Panzanella’, ‘Speedy Courgette Linguine with Tomato Sauce and homemade Focaccia Buns’ and ‘Lemon Lava Cake’.
