Going against traditional construction modes to build a family house that is economical, functional but most importantly sustainable is a dream for most, but not for all, some have indeed managed to make it come true… We went to Tijuana, Mexico, to discover an unusual house that answers tomorrow’s major issues. This border-town has recently started to face major issues about the environment. However, it is here that Javier and Marta chose to settle and build their eco-friendly house based on the 3 R of sustainability: reuse, reduce, recycle.
