Nasta arrived in Mayotte one night in her mother’s arms on a clandestine boat, when she was 4 months old. A little girl rescued from the waters, she crosses her shanty town four times a day to go to school. At the age of 9, Nasta walks alone through this maze of corrugated iron sheets. An hour and a half spent in the dust of a dirt track.
