We went to Corrèze, just outside Tulle, to discover Christiane and Jean-François’ yurt-house. A bioclimatic house with an energy-plus label, it has perfectly adapted to its surroundings. From then on, – How can we adapt these nomadic houses to our sedentary lifestyles? – What are the advantages of a round house, compared to a square one? – What are the basic elements required to build a circular house? The couple and their architect had to face all these issues while working on their project, if yurts are often considered unusual places to live in, they also tend to become more and more common.
