Comedian and cat lover Jo Brand, is back for another feline friendly series, full of the best and most remarkable rescues of the nations much loved moggies.

In this week’s episode, Jo gets stuck in at Harmsworth Animal Hospital, when she meets tiny kitten Lucky, who almost didn’t make it, when she was so anaemic from fleas quite literally sucking the life out of her. Jo assists Vet Sam Fevy who is taking a blood count sample to see if this little kitty will be well enough to go up for rehoming.

It’s double trouble for Inspector Herchy Boal, when she picks up two litters of kittens. However, as with any unvaccinated kittens living outside, Cat Flu is a major risk. For one lot of kittens, it seems the deadly flu has taken hold and their lives hang in the balance as Herchy rushes them to the animal hospital.

In Liverpool, Animal Welfare officer Matt Brown steps up to rescue a cat on a telegraph pole. But as he says ‘There’s not such thing as a simple cat rescue’ and it’s a trickier job than he first thought.

Over in Kent, Inspector Rosie Russon is dealing with a heavily matted Persian cat. With matted cats at high risk of getting fly strike or suffering deep skin lacerations, Rosie needs to get this cat to a vets quickly before the situation can get any worse.
