E34 | | Wolwedans - Namibia

This program is not currently available.

Climate change and poaching have induced new tourism modes where local population and conservation go hand in hand with hospitality projects. We went to Namibia, 400 km south of the capital city Windhoek, to visit the largest private reserve in Africa called Namib-Rand. Right in the middle of these 90 000 hectares of red sand, Stephan Bruckner and his team built Wolwedans: lodges that are equally ecological and comfortable, and perfectly integrated to their surroundings.
