E06 | The Great Pottery Throwdown | Episode 6

It's the quarter-finals, and two candidates will be sent home. The potters must engrave a design on the surface of a Greek urn using the age-old technique of sgraffito. Derived from the Italian word for "scraped", sgraffito involves etching through a layer of colored clay to reveal a contrasting color underneath. The potters also had to create and hand-decorate four Russian nesting dolls.
