Biker Wolfgang is worried about the newest arrival to his 25 strong family of cats. Paulina is having extreme difficulty breathing and when Clare diagnoses a large growth in Paulina’s throat, it looks like she will have to undergo an operation to remove it… Retired ballerina Lavinia lives in Blackrock with her two thoroughbred Siamese cats whom she describes as ‘shocking snobs’. One of them, Del Boy, was once king of the cat show scene and is now adjusting to life out of the spotlight. Well past his prime, will this feline lothario cooperate with vet Clare’s medical interventions? Curley has clearly bitten off more than he can chew when he shows up after a night on the town with a split tongue. His concerned owners, Maite and Darragh, rush him to Clare for emergency surgery… Meanwhile Whitney and Bobby have gotten themselves into a spot of bother. While stretched out in the back garden soaking up the rays, they failed to notice they were being infested by opportunistic parasites - tiny red harvest mites known as ‘chiggers’.
