A stray cat called Cooper was a regular visitor to Liesel, a former staff nurse at the Cat Hospital. When he turned up wearing a mysterious cone shaped collar and sporting a very nasty gash on his leg, Liesel took him straight to see Clare. Following a series of operations, the wound was beginning to heal. Then the Cat hospital had a call from someone looking for a cat fitting Coopers description. As the mystery unravelled it turned out that Cooper had been leading a secret double life. A highly spirited cat called Charlie is dropped off at the Cat Hospital for his annual check-up. His owner Carole adopted Charlie when she found him abandoned as a kitten. Because Charlie was hand reared, he has a tendency to be wilful and sometimes difficult to live with. Over the years Carole has learned to cope with Charlie's sometimes testing behaviour. A hairless sphinx cat called Vader is treated for painful spots on his tummy. Because he is hairless, Vader rarely goes outdoors. His owner Laura asks if this could be the cause of the problem.
