In Thailand, Nikki travels through Issan, a remote region unknown to tourists but rich in history. This region covers about a third of the country and is located on the Khorat Plateau, bordered by the Mekong River to the north and east and Cambodia to the south. Nikki will learn more about the rich history of this region, meeting people who will tell her wonderful stories.
