Saint-Petersburg is a maritime city born from the will of Tsar Peter the Great, a lover of the sea. Built on marshes, St. Petersburg was a pharaonic project that came out of the water in just 10 years. Here, the sea is the soul of the city and cobalt blue its colour: a deep blue, used by the workshops of the imperial porcelain factory, the oldest in Russia, where Sophie makes a tea cup bearing the effigies of the town.
