The Puppies are back with extraordinary, moving and funny stories from the formative months of their lives. This week, those puppies are getting mischievous. Teddy the Chihuahua pup goes to war! Having been the most timid of his siblings, he reveals his ruthless streak as he takes on dogs, ten times his size, at the annual Hever Castle dog fancy dress competition! Teddy is resplendent as a ‘war horse’, complete with a knight in shining armour sitting atop him. But can he scatter the competition to claim first prize? Sasha, the super-cute and sweet-natured Bernese Mountain Dog puppy visits Norwich Market. Whilst no one’s looking, she snuffles a few temptations from the doggy treat pick & mix stall. Luckily, for Sasha, she’s so cute that no one minds and she gets an extra bag of treats thrown in by her human dad. Miller is a Manchester Terrier pup who likes being the centre of attention and also creating mayhem for his poor, over-wrought mother, Millie, who regularly retreats into her personal ‘panic room’. But when Miller moves to his new home, he gets a new big brother, a very big brother, Doberman Cooper. And Cooper won’t take any nonsense from Miller, even to the point of insisting on the correct table manners! Curly Coated Retriever pup, Winston, is growing up with his mum in the beautiful surroundings of Tillicoultry, Scotland. Today, Winston is having his first trip to the local Loch, to see if he can follow his breed’s tradition of retrieval from the water. But he’s far more interested in fighting his mum for what seems to be the coolest stick on the shore. And Golden Retriever up, Rocky, who we’ve followed since birth, attempts to overcome his gluttonous desires.
