Today, we will cook an easy vegan tofu casserole. A quick and tasty meal that you can make at home. If you didn't know already, the appellation "vegan" simply means excluding all foods of animal origin.

  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 80g of tofu
  • 20g of butter
  • 50g of spring onion
  • 20 ml of soy sauce
  • Turmeric
  • 100g of flour
  • 30g of sugar
  • Baking powder
  • Baker's yeast


  • On a board, dice the green pepper, then finely chop the spring onion, onion and tofu.
  • In a frying pan, add butter and fry onions and peppers for a few minutes until they caramelise.
  • In a second pan, add butter, fry the tofu, then pour in the soy sauce and mix well.
  • In a bowl mix the tofu and peppers. Add turmeric and spring onion and mix again. Add two teaspoons of baker's yeast and sugar. Finally, add warm water and mix everything together.
  • In another bowl, add the flour and baking powder and mix.
  • Mix both together to create a well blended mixture. Add the vegetables and mix again.
  • Butter your container and pour the mixture into it. Once finished, bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the oven at 180°.
