Labrador puppy, Pippa, is beginning a career, assisting the disabled with practical tasks. She gets training in new skills, including setting up a wheelchair, pressing an automatic door button, unloading a washing machine and hardest of all… resisting a biscuit! Our Tamaskan puppies from County Down, Northern Ireland, go on a canoeing holiday. Lyra enjoys sitting at the front of the boat, as they explore the waterways of East Anglia. But it just takes one slip and Lyra gets a crash course in the doggy paddle. Swedish Vallhund, Alexa, makes the long journey from Enfield to her ancestral home in Scandinavia. She discovers wide open spaces, a lake and a whole family of marauding Viking Vallhunds. But Alexa is a puppy on a mission. If she breeds, she will strengthen the Swedish bloodline and help save her kind from extinction. Silken Windhounds pups, Duke and Safiyya are on a mission for speed. And now it’s time for their first race, where, they get to chase a lure, instead of the traditional hare. Weimarama pup, Jaegar, leaves his birth home, to follow his calling to save the health service. He has been enlisted as a ‘therapy dog’. This involves following his boss – a Chihuahua called Bean – around a care home, and being petted
