Pummeled by one of the highest tides in Europe makes for fatter, sweeter, healthier oysters. And having once supplied King Louis XV1’s oyster habit, Brittany still supplies half of France. Bretons also boast of plentiful sardines, kelp forests, spiny crabs and the rare cobalt blue lobster. Fished sustainably, cooked on a grill, little wonder this beauty is called the king of lobsters.
