For the International Day of Italian Cuisine, MyZen TV invites you to immerse yourself in the world of one of the tastiest cuisines in the world: Italian cuisine! Come travel and cook with us from 6:30 to 10:00 pm on January 17th.

For this very special occasion, MyZen TV is setting up a unique digital device: we will make the recipes and ingredients available in advance on our website so that viewers can cook at the same time.

With Luana Belmondo, you will learn to cook the most typical Italian dishes. This evening will also be an opportunity to highlight our culinary tutorials (short format) special "Italian recipes" with Pastateca.

THE BURRATA

Let's start with two recipes from Luana Cuisine who shows us how to make two dishes with burrata! Find the recipe in video on our streaming platform or on January 17th at 6:30 pm!

1) Samosas with burrata, feta, olives and salmon

Feeling hungry? Looking for something to eat for an aperitif? Then try this recipe for samosas with burrata, feta, olives and salmon

You will only need :

  • Phyllo dough
  • Salmon
  • Black olives
  • Feta cheese
  • butter
  • Dried tomatoes
  • Basil
  • Burrata cheese

Recipe :  

  • Cut the phyllo dough lengthwise
  • Then cut the salmon into small slices.
  • Chop up the black olives
  • Cut the feta cheese into small cubes and mix with the salmon.
  • Soak the edges of the phyllo with butter and place the mixture on one edge.
  • Then form a triangle.
  • Bake the samoussas for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • You can also add sun-dried tomatoes, basil leaves and of course… burrata!

2 ) Paccheri alla norma

The paccheri alla norma is an original, healthy and an essential dish of the Italian cuisine !

You will only need :

  • Paccheri
  • Tomato
  • Eggplant
  • Garlic
  • Tomato sauce
  • Basil
  • Burrata cheese

Recipe :  

  • Cut the garlic, then the tomatoes into quarters and finally the eggplants into cubes.
  • Cook the paccheri in a pan.
  • At the same time, fry the garlic, tomatoes and eggplant in a pan.
  • Add tomato sauce and a few basil leaves and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  • For even more flavour, you can add a little pasta broth to the sauce. Once the pasta is cooked, put it in the pan with the mixture and serve.
  • You can also add half a burrata to your dish. Buon appetito!

LASAGNAS

Luana Cuisine now shows us two very different lasagna recipes. Find the recipe in video on our streaming platform or on January 17th at 7pm!

1) Lasagna with vegetables 

You will only need :

  • One mozzarella
  • Zucchini
  • Shrimp
  • Garlic
  • Basil
  • Pine nuts
  • Parmesan / Pecorino
  • Olive oil
  • Butter

Recipe :  

  • Cut eggplant and zucchini into strips
  • Cut 2 red peppers into quarters
  • Sauté peppers in olive oil with garlic
  • Sear the zucchini on a grill
  • Stew the onions in olive oil
  • Sear eggplant on a grill
  • Place tomato slices on a baking sheet
  • Add olive oil and bake for 5/6 minutes at 180°C
  • Cut the red peppers into strips
  • Butter the bottom of the pan
  • Moisten the lasagna with the broth
  • Assemble the lasagna by arranging the layers of eggplant, zucchini, peppers and onions
  • Add a spoonful of cream and the Gruyère cheese. Grate some pecorino cheese on top.
  • Repeat the layers until you have used up all the vegetables.
  • Finish with the cooked tomatoes, Gruyere and Pecorino cheese.
  • Bake your dish at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.

2) Lasagnas with zucchini, shrimp, mozzarella, pecorino and pesto sauce

You will only need :

  • One mozzarella
  • 3 zucchini
  • olive oil
  • Thawed shrimp
  • garlic
  • Basil
  • Pine nuts
  • Parmesan / Pecorino cheese
  • butter

Recipe :  

  • Crumble the mozzarella
  • Cube the zucchini
  • Cook zucchini in olive oil
  • Add thawed shrimp
  • For the pesto, place garlic and basil in the blender
  • Add pine nuts, grated parmesan and olive oil. Blend everything together.
  • Butter the bottom of a mold.
  • Add the shrimp/zucchini mixture
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella and pesto
  • Grate some pecorino cheese
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C
