E04 | Kitten Rescuers | Episode 4

Comedian and cat lover Jo Brand, is back for another kitten-packed series, full of the best and most remarkable rescues of the nations much loved moggies. In Essex, it’s a high risk rescue for Animal Collection Officer Joe White, when a kitten is spotted on a motorway hard shoulder. With cars roaring past only meters away from the unlucky moggie, Joe has to work fast to get the frightened feline to safety. But, in true cat fashion, she doesn’t make it an easy job for Joe. Inspector Sam Durrant attends a complaint about two cats living in squalid conditions. Not wanting to take the cats away from their loving owner, she gives him one final chance to make things right. We find out if he really can turn things around and create a clean and healthy environment for not only the cats, but himself. We catch up with our kitten family - now 6 weeks of age, kittens Giraffe, Lion and Bear have all been fostered with mum Tiger and taken to their new home with Nicky Elliot. We see how they’re settling in and what these mischievous moggies are getting up to. At Putney Animal Hospital, Jo Brand re-visits young Stanley, to see how his crushed paw is healing and whether or not he will be able to live a normally and healthy life. And Jo hits the ground running with Clinical Director Jules Bancroft as she makes her daily rounds of the inpatients.
