E02 | Kitten Rescuers | Episode 2

Comedian and cat lover Jo Brand, is back for another series, full of the best and most remarkable rescues of the UK’s much loved moggies. This week, Animal welfare officer Matt Brown receives a call about a family of kittens that have been reported hiding in the loft space above a shop. However when he tries to rescue the kittens from their dark and dusty den, things don’t quite go to plan, leaving one little kitten in a sticky situation. In south east London, Inspector Anthony Pulfer goes to extreme lengths when he attempts to save a stray tomcat that has fallen 30ft into a tiny inaccessible and unescapable courtyard. To make the rescue even trickier, the courtyard is in the middle of a busy building site, meaning Anthony must take every precaution for his own safety. Jo Brand takes a trip to RSPCA Putney Animal Hospital and meets tiny kitten Stanley, who’s crushed paw needs immediate attention. And she pulls on her laboratory coat to test feral, ginger kitten Will, for a potentially life changing virus. His future as an outdoor cat, all lies in the outcome of the results. Finally, we catch up with young pregnant Tiger, who finally gives the staff at South Godstone Animal Centre an early wake up, when she goes into labour.
