E06 | Kitten Rescuers | Episode 6

Comedian and cat lover Jo Brand, is back for another feline friendly series, full of the best and most remarkable rescues of the nations much loved moggies. In this week's episode, Jo’s at Harmsworth, one of the country’s busiest animal hospitals. She pulls on a nurse’s apron and helps out in two life changing operations on two very cute cat patients. It’s a high-rise rescue for Inspector Sam Durrant as she and the fire brigade try to reach a cat stuck 60 feet up a tree. It’s an incredibly difficult rescue and everyone gives it their all, in hope that he doesn’t fall before they can reach him. Inspector Clare Dew puts on her detective’s hat when she visits owner Frederick, who’s cat Sooty seems to be mysteriously losing his hair. Will she be able to get to the bottom of this cat’s bizarre condition? Over in Birmingham, we meet a very special cat called Mr Wobbles who has an unusual condition that affects part of the brain that controls his coordination. Animal Care Assistant Leanne explains the care and affection that Mr Wobbles needs and is hoping to find him a loving new owner that will give him the attention he deserves. Lastly, after following the journey of Tiger and her 3 beautiful kittens from birth, it’s time for them to fly the nest and find their permanent homes. However it seems for the kittens, they might not be venturing as far afield a they might have suspected.
